Vintage Menswear at Noble Savage Vintage

This summer has been pretty brutal in NYC.   What better way to beat the heat than to work in the cool AC to bring you all of the new Vintage Menswear pieces I have been carefully selecting over the past few months.  Stop by the shop on Ruby Lane to check out this latest collection.  Stop by frequently as I still have much more to add.

This white dinner jacket from After Six, not only works for your semi-formal occasions, but quite frankly looks very modern and fresh when paired with a casual shirt and bow tie.

This nubby red After six dinner jacket will certainly fill your VLV needs, but also has a nice, subtle jet age sheen which will look excellent with a tee shirt and jeans.

Gatsby fever is all an all time high, but have you ever stopped to wonder just what a man like Gatsby actually would have worn.  I guarantee that his wardrobe of fine shirts would have been filled with A. Sulka's such as this one.

...or this one.  Take a close look at the amazing quality of the fabric and the beautiful construction on these and the other Sulka's in the shop.

Finally, for the Dandy Gentlemen,
one of the finest Edwardian silk waistcoats I've found to date.  It's trapunto stitched silk looks quite regal.

Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but no picture seems to fully realize the brilliant colors in this rather organic art nouveau plaid silk waistcoat.  This piece is quite the conversational and will make a fine prized addition to your collection.

A Vintage Affair to Remember

There are several reasons to pick a vintage wedding dress for your special day.  First, you know you will be wearing a truly unique dress, one that probably comes with some very special history.  Second, you can find some great deals on incredible, high fashion vintage dresses. A new gown can cost you several thousand dollars! Vintage dresses are a wonderful alternative to the dresses you'll find in high priced boutiques and will usually only cost you a fraction of the price.

We have a particular love for vintage wedding dresses at Off Broadway, and have sold many to some wonderful brides over the years.  Below are some of our favorites currently in our store:

You can check out some of our vintage wedding dresses in our Etsy store or on our website!
