New Spring Summer Vintage at Noble Savage Vintage

Spring has had a late arrival here in Brooklyn, NY, but we want you to be fashionably prepared for the upcoming warm and sunny weather.    Expect lots of new Spring/ Summer Vintage additions to the shops on Ruby Lane and Etsy.  I am busy editing photos of Vintage day and evening wear from the 1920's through the 1960's,  with a few irresistible additions from the 80s as well.
Here is a sampling of what's new with so much more to come.

Pair this fun plaid Jantzen set with sandals, ballet flats, heels, or Keds.  This versatile ensemble is so now with it's high rise cropped pants and matching blouse that doubles as the perfect springtime jacket.

Vintage 1950's Jantzen Plaid Cropped Playset, XS

Pull on this dress and go.  It's the color of the season and is in a wrinkle resist poly.  Need I say more?

1960's Mod A-Line Zip Front Jeanne West Dress NOS , M

This dress is sure to inspire.  Early 1940's cotton ditsy print with a tulle overlay skirt and matching cropped jacket.  Take a closer look and you will see that the stripes on the skirt are thin strips of self fabric individual applied to the tulle overlay.  Incredible.

Vintage 1940s Maxi Sundress in Yellow Ditsy Print Cotton with Jacket, XXS

The fabulous Anne Fogarty sundress in a coppery orange cotton sateen.  You don't know how tempted I am to keep this beauty.  This quality dress is early 50's but the fabric maintains it's sheen and it's bold color, as if it were made just today.

1950s Anne Fogarty Dress, XS

1950's Cameo New York cocktail dress with wrapped pleated bodice and original belt in a beautiful iridescent sage green color.
...and finally, the Pièce de résistance, an amazing New Look style silk faille gown in white with matching gloves, by high end maker Filcol.  You must click on the link and take a look at the incredible back treatment.
