ReFURbish Your Wardrobe

Inherited a few furs that you're not sure what to do with? Why not consider modernizing your pieces with a professional furrier or turning one large piece into several different closet staples?

For example, a large coat can be used to make individual collars, cuffs, hats, glove trimmings, or you could use it to cover small ornamental furtniture like footstools or ottomans. Get creative with Aunt Mildred's giant beaver stole!

If fur is just not your thing, there are tons of online resources for selling used furs. Check out http://www.furs.com/ for price guides and links to recycled fur communities. If you do decide to sell, you'll know that your used fur is going to new loving hands.

Why all the fur talk? Well, I've recently developed a love for recylcled vintage furs and while I don't currently carry any full length fur pieces in my shop, I do have several fur collared coats in classic shapes that are luxuriously warm for winter.

Feel free to browse through the shop for ideas on how to recycle your own vintage pieces. Or if you're looking for a new winter coat, you may find just the piece for you!
