High Fashion in the Dirty 30s

Although many in the Great Depression could ill afford the smallest luxury there were still people with pockets deep enough to buy Hollywood glam such as this black beauty. Purchased from Henry Morgan & Co. Ltd (taken over by The Bay in the 60s) in Montréal at their high-end Colonial House boutique sometime in the early 30s. The soft fur collar can be worn flat or curled all the way up for added warmth and dramatic effect. Greta Garbo worthy!
