A/W '10 full of Vintage Inspiration

With new collections hitting the stores, it's clear that autumn fashion is all about Mad Men style. This season we are interested more in Betty Draper's dresses, Joan's pencil vintage skirts and Peggy's buttoned-up style than the stroyline of the series. We, at SoLovesVintage online magazine tried to capture the Mad Men look in our shoot and mix lots of vintage dresses, vintage skirts and vintage jewellery without the price tags of Prada or Louis Vuitton.

It was about time that designers create clothes for real women. So we hope this womanly look will stay here and become autumn's hottest trend - all nipped-in waists and curved silhouettes. And if you want to find genuine, unique vintage dresses that will be one off start looking in vintage shops. For a fresh take on the trend balance full skirts with slim cardigans or plain t-shirts and pull everything together with one of the season's skinny belts and boxy vintage handbags.
So as we always say vintage doesn't mean old-fashioned, we prepared some tips of how to mix and match vintage items with success:

Hot tips:

1. Wear a fitted cardigan over bare skin or a skimpy camisole for a modern look

2. Mad Men's signature cinched-in shape is all down to skinny belts. Should always sit on your natural waist

3. Search out for vintage kitten heels or peeptoe with bows

4. Either you pick a swishy full skirt dress or a slimmer shift vintage dress, must be knee lenght to be on trend. Mix it with thick grey tights and sandals

5. Pencil skirts are sexy and feminine and an all time classic. High heels a must with this look

6. Croc bags that are structured is another hit for this season
