New this week at Couture Allure are a couple of wonderful 60's evening dresses from a recent estate as well as a few scarves and necklaces. In the 50's and 60's, if you needed a party dress or an evening gown, you headed over to the Lillie Rubin store because that was their specialty. This early 1960's cocktail dress has dangling crystals on the beaded bodice that move when you do. The next time you want to channel the drama of a 1940's Hollywood film noir starlet like Rita Hayworth or Barbara Stanwyck, you'll want to pull this dress from your closet. Velvet and crepe combined with a side drape at the hip give you all the allure you need. Perfect for a summer formal event or even a bride, this early 1960's evening gown is fashioned of off-white cotton pique with a dramatic band of beading that curves under the bust. Sparkling crystal rhinestones surround marquise shaped emerald rhinestones on this exquisite vintage 1950's necklace. This vintage Burberrys silk scarf is one of several scarves we listed this week. Check out the rest here.
Sure, this is just another blog entry that expresses my quirky point of view, but if you haven't been to a vintage auction before, you might enjoy reading about my experience attending one last weekend. Read all about it here.
We are having an unusually warm spell even for North Texas. It was in the 90's this week..........too hot for April, and we're hoping that it's not of sign of things to come. Between the hot weather and finding these 2 fabulous swimsuits one with the coverup.........I've been reminiscing about the summers of my childhood and teen years. I grew up in the water. Literally. From Memorial Day to Labor Day my family spent every weekend at Lake Texoma camping, skiing, swiming and loafing. Not to mention Camp Fire Camp ( Camp Rio Roxo) and 2 weeks vacation. During the week I spent every day at the swimming pool and was a member of the municipal Swim Team. So I went through about 5 or 6 swimsuits a summer. One of the reasons I mention this is because it was very important to have at least 2 suits at all times. One for the lake and one for the pool. Texoma is formed from the Red River and they call it the Red River for a reason...............red sand. Red Sand kills a light colored swimsuit quicker that a cat can lick it's behind. And chlorine kills a dark colored suit the same way..........so all us girls had Pool Suits and Lake Suits. The 2 suits I found this week came from the same Estate. Obviously she also divided her time between the pool and the lake. This first beauty is a Jantzen white over blue suit with white organdy eyelet cover up. (No need for a cover-up at the lake cause ya just threw on shorts or a towel and lived in the water) And the 2nd pretty is a Sears Sea Stars 2 pc which still had red sand in it (but I got it all out and it's ready to go). Boy did that sand bring back memories.............warm nights, campfires on the beach, stars overhead, the boy from Dallas in the next campsite............OOPS....too much information. Both of these lovelies can be found at cemetarian on eBay.

White Blue And Green Floral 100% Nylon Dist. By F.W. Woolworth Co. New York, NY 10007 .88 1-2 Dept 060 Rolled Hem Trimmed in Blue 35 Inches X 20 Inches
I loved going to this store as a kid! I thought it was so cool to eat a stuffed tomato with tuna.
A Little History About Woolworth Discount Store
The F.W. Woolworth Co. was among the first Five And Dime Stores which sold discounted general merchandise at discount prices for five or ten cents, undercutting the prices of other local merchants. Woolworth's, as the stores popularly became known, was one of the first American retailers to put merchandise out for the shopping public to handle and select without the assistance of a sales clerk. Earlier retailers had kept all merchandise behind a counter, and customers presented the clerk with a list of items they wished to buy. After working in a dry goods store in Watertown, New York, Frank Winfield Woolworth opened his first Woolworth’s store in Utica New York, in 1878, but the store failed within a year. However, a second store he opened on June 21, 1879 in Lancaster Pennsylvania, became a success. Frank Woolworth brought his brother Charles Sumner Woolworth into the business, and together they opened more stores, often in partnership with other business associates. The Woolworth brothers also entered into partnerships with “friendly rivals” to maximize inventory purchasing power.

Happy Earth Day Everyone!
I've been through a lot since the holidays, going from Lone Star Vintage Clothing to My Vintage Things. Now I am calling myself Texas Vintage Things. I think I'll stay with Texas Vintage Things for awhile. Makes perfect sense for me because I'm from Texas and sell a lot of vintage things (vintage clothing, vintage costume jewelry, vintage accessories, mid century modern furniture-a lot of things). Here are a few of my newest items listed in my store: I have tons of things in my store right now. Mention this post and I'll give you free domestic shipping or discounted international shipping.
Happy Earth Day! With fashion today moving so fast that you can't even digest it, and with a new brand being born every two minutes only to push out the past and create more items to pollute the earth with, we at VagaBondnyc.com think one of the smartest ways to combat this epic problem is by buying vintage. This is what you could call a no-brainer of a thought! Robert Longo's Untitled( Home, Earth 3) 2005, Charcoal on Mounted Paper, is pictured above.
Of course you should choose a vintage wedding dress...because it's better to use what is already here, better to use what comes from a local source, better to think about the disposal problem...I know...but you are a GrownUp now! vintage and handmade wedding ideas here at etsyyou know me...I like marriage so much...I did it twice. I think everyone should have the right to marry... the old joke: Everyone should have the opportunity to be miserable like the rest of us !! (ha ha) But seriously, marriage takes work and a pretty wedding takes some pretty stuff.........My 2 weddings were all diy...1st one, I made my dress (duh) of natural crinkle gauze (duh) from India and I embroidered pretty flowers all over it, and made a matching shirt for the groom (duh) The second wedding was an elopement affair because I was under too much pressure to invite/feed/entertain/mollify about a 100 people and I was not up to it. (everybody will tell you what to do...few will actually help) Traveling to San Francisco to be married at City Hall in 1997, my second wedding dress was a lacy antique silk slip that was mostly falling apart.. I made that into the mini skirt, then for the blouse I used a 70s faux Victorian blouse that I remodeled .... I wore some new/edwardian style shoes....and paired it up with my favorite leather jacket. I was hot! Mark wore a thrift store linen suit, with a bright blue shirt and a vintage pink/blue tie and 2 tone Saddle shoes.Vintage sunglasses of course. The pics are packed away.....after my big move I'll copy them and post them for you all to laugh at. Hey for the groom how about these white shoes from etsy seller jonscreations
So....a Vintage Wedding Dress?I always buy pretty white dresses for my shop and I adore vintage lingerie for the bride. A bride and groom should indulge themselves (sensibly) for their wedding and honeymoon, because soon enough, it won't be about just you 2. There is real life. Right now I have these on etsy: a loverly Emma Domb from the early 60s...it is tailored in the front and girly on the back! I love love love the deep back and the bows.

Going more Bohemian?
70s crinkle gauze with sheer lace. This is ethereal and fairy.

Like the tailored look? Classic ivory wool boucle set by Tina Hagen.

I love this stunning early 1960's evening gown by French couturier Bob Bugnand. Never heard of him? Read the listing for more information about this important designer. One of my favorite 1950's bombshell dresses ever! Silk taffeta. Strapless shelf bust. Nude lace bustier. Big poufy drape at the hip. What's not to love? This gorgeous red crepe evening gown from the 1940's is an Original by Olga. Crystal beads go all the way around the bodice. Another company you may have never heard of, Design Thai was based in Bankok and produced hand-screened prints on resort and loungewear sold in high end department stores like Bergdorf Goodman and I. Magnin. This 1970's full length cotton dress can be worn by the pool or by the bar. This 1960's wiggle dress by Mardi Gras is fashioned from a black and white cotton floral print. In a fun twist, the bodice is completely covered in matching black and white sequins. Like the Design Thai dress, this 1960's suit also has an Asian pattern woven in red, pink, and green wool. I love the vibrant colors!
Just wanted to mention that we're having a spring sale! Lots of wonderful goodies have been marked down. Check it out: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6325600§ion_id=5834445
Grey Gardens, we all love it, right? Everyone is looking forward to seeing the Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange movie about their earlier lives, if only to see the 1930-40s fashions, which I'm sure will be fabulous. But it's still really the documentary featuring the real Big Edie and Little Edie Beale that will have a lasting impression on us. That's THEM, the real thing, a look into their lives. Beautiful, fabulous, so much to offer the world, but also so trapped and sad and tragic. We're they brave to let people see their lives like that? Or were they completely unaware of how unusual they were? I never get tired of seeing the documentary. I just bought my first 4 DVDs ever (yes I am behind with modern movie-watching technology) and Grey Gardens was one of the 4 that I bought. No one but Little Edie herself would be able to pull off the 'Little Edie Look' from head to toe. But if you are brave or Staunch enough, you could add a few of these 'Revolutionary Costume' pieces to your wardrobe 1. 1980s VINTAGE KENZO NAVY WRAP SKIRT - from rubyfigcouture 2. Polka Dots have a tendency to go in and out of fashion
Some years, you can go almost all year without hardly seeing any; while other years you are practically bombarded by polka dots. So what is the deal with polka dots anyway? The polka dot pattern was named after the famous dance by the same name. Why? There is no real reason why the dots came to claim that name, other than the fact the U.S. had a strange fascination with the polka dance from around the 1840s until the 1890s. Many items were given the name "polka" to enhance their desirability on the on the marketplace. Consumers "fell for the name" and likewise purchased items with polka dots. They "fed the fad." These were "polka dots!" Polka dots were just one part of the polka frenzy. There were also polka hats and polka ties, but these items never had the staying power of the polka dot.
I am asked all the time...Why is vintage so small? well, Victoria, people were generally tinier back in the old days....they did more stuff that burned more calories and let's not forget the food shortages because of the war years and a Depression. Smaller people = smaller clothes. Today, we have vitamins in our food, and in water that comes in plastic bottles. We have food that has 12,000 calories per teaspoon, and that makes a bigger human. Now,my people were hardy short and wide peasant stock from Eastern Europe, when they weren't dipping into the Mediterranean gene pool...also tending to be shorter rather than taller.... The larger ladies want fancy dresses....I have some of those coming up soon. I mostly have the Daily Dress...the marketing, the car-pool, the casual lunch with the girls...all cute, but not a party dress. I am sorry about this...but larger sizes tend to be the Day Dress ....clothes were expensive compared to today's bargain shopping at "CheapNess Is A Virtue Corporate Chain Store"......du jour. Here is a lovely selection in my etsy shop, for your perusal, all starting at 40" bust and up.60s blue plaid day dress.... 70s shift with white soutache.... 60s paisley shirtdress.... 60s sailor girl shift... 60s daisy dress.... 40s XL suit jacket... 50s Sweater dress with beads and pockets ! Wow !

Flattering Your Figure With Your Vintage Scarf
Scarves can be used in a variety of ways to help flatter your figure by accentuating attributes and/or hiding flaws! Use the following tips to enhance your bust line, slim full hips, hide a sagging neck or double chin, even add or subtract height! Color can be used to either hide or accentuate. Use bright colors or patterns to draw attention to an area or use dark and/or monotone colors to hide flaws. For instance, you can fold a dark (black, navy, etc.) square scarf in half into a triangle and tie it around your middle with the knot on one side to de-emphasize a full waist or hips. Also, you can use a bright colored scarf around your neck or waist to draw attention to the upper torso, and away from the lower body. You can also give the illusion of added height by tying a scarf in colors to match your outfit around your neck or head, or you can trail a long rectangular scarf over your shoulder for the same effect. Tying a scarf of a different color around your neck or head can have the effect of detracting from your height. Any of the neck wrap styles may be used to hide a sagging neck or double chin. Colorful or patterned scarves can be used to accentuate the bust line. Scarf clips can also be used to draw attention to the area. Shawl styles or over the shoulder styles are useful when attempting to de-emphasize the chest area. The main thing to remember when tying your scarf is to be creative. Scarves are versatile accessories that have never gone out of style and you can use them to expand your wardrobe inexpensivlely

I hate sweaters.....I love sweaters......... I hate them because 99.99999% of them are ugly. Like face-thru-a-windshield ugly. I love them because they can be sexy and have rhinestones. I look at racks and boxes of sweaters and I think:"I can't believe someone has a job designing this crap." Therefore, I buy really ugly and really weird sweaters and cut them up or shrink them to make other things from them. It's transformative. It's like Sweater Karma where you go Up the levels of enlightenment....I am a goddess....I control Sweater Lives. So, I love Mary Maxim graphical sweaters...they always tell a story...and they are hand knit. I can't knit, so I admire those who do. I can't walk a tightrope, so I admire those who do.........You get my drift. Mary Maxim produced charts for knitters to follow while knitting...these became very popular in the 50s and 60s. They are not Cowichan sweaters which are made by members of First Nation tribes... the Cowichan band of Coast Salish. There are also Brown Buffalo Canadian sweaters...but back to Mary Maxim... Welcome to Mary Maxim… ...the largest mail order merchandiser of exclusive needlework and craft kits in North America now offering secure internet ordering on the world wide web. Mary Maxim began with hand knit designs in the early 1950s. Influenced by the beautiful wildlife in North America, Mary Maxim designed bulky outdoor zippered jackets to knit using the first easy-to-follow graph-style charts created. Take a look at a couple of our new additions to Nelda's Vintage Clothing I am so tempted to keep them. Both 50s dresses are so perfect for spring and summer. A Vintage Rockabilly Kay Whitney Sundress Exceptional 1950s Vintage Cotton SundressI recently bought a large lot of Vintage Clothing and wanted to share with everyone my two favorite finds. I hope you enjoy viewing them.
I like to think that vintage items are waiting for someone special to appreciate what they have to offer and my favorite thing is finding the right person for the right item. Are you the right person for this item? My friend has this absolutely gorgeous 1960s cocktail dress by Suzy Petette. It's shimmering black lace over black satin acetate and molds to your figure to modestly show everything you've covered up. In my mind outlining what you've got beats letting it all show any day. There's that mystery about what is left to discover that really inflames a man's imagination. The sleeves are long and sheer. The shoulder area is also unlined and sheer. The back dips into a V while the front rises high close to the neck area giving away nothing, but promising much. It's modest, sexy and alluring all at the same time and is just waiting for the right person. Are you that person? My Mother's Day dress is this: a moment to chat about Mother's Day, May 10, 2009hint hint hint hint........In 1907, Mother's Day was first celebrated in a small, private way by Anna Marie Jarvis in Grafton, West Virginia, to commemorate the anniversary of her mother's death two years earlier on May 9, 1905. Jarvis's mother, named Anna Maria Reeves Jarvis, had been active in Mother's Day campaigns for peace and worker's safety and health since end of American Civil War. Back to the Dress.........It's a knockoff of a Balenciaga design circa early 60s. At first I was gonna do it in the turquoise with long sheer sleeves. Turq is a good color for me, and I do not need one more black dress....right now. But the more I think about it, the more I will likely eliminate the sleeves .....I'm choosing a washable fabric even tho the dress must have facings and interfacings, but at least the crinoline that comes with, is detachable. Of course you knew that a big bubble skirt like that would need a custom crinni.......I don't know the exact year and collection because I haven't done That much research...but I did find this one at Doyle's Auctions...... Lot 1094 Balenciaga Chine Bubble Cocktail Dress French, circa 1960 Of silk taffeta, black ground with warp print red roses, camisole bodice with wide shoulder straps gathered at front, trimmed with two horizontal self bands at empire and waistline concluding in bow at center front, gathered skirt with revealed harem hem net over tulle underskirt, tulle lining with silk gauze hem. Born in 1885 in Guetaria, Spain,Cristobal Balenciaga opened his first boutique in 1913 in Spain and moved to Paris in 1937. He retired in 1968 and died soon after. He dressed the European royals, High society women and our first lady, Jackie Kennedy. Balenciaga invented the modern styles we now take for granted including the chemise dress, that we now call the shift, the baby doll with it's sheer lace flounced tent over a slim underdress, the balloon skirt, the cocoon coat revived from the teens and 20s, and the revived Empire line in the 1950s. ***** So A Pretty Dress ***** I have a few on etsy.....I love this picture of my shirt-tale cousins...Sheri who is modeling on Broadway (when I had streets and sidewalks) and Sandi, who is the photographer (filterfour.com).Both gals are amazing! First is a 60s vintage Klopman Whipped Cream fabric fashioned in a 20s style flapper dropwaist dress....Love that Pollack inspired print ! in washable polyester ! The vintage double-breasted coat...probably a Balenciaga knock off...late 50s/early 60s....
Then...how about a dress that says "Hi, I'm Springy"...look at the closing on the back.. ......
and a deceptive Black Silk coat, late 50s/early 60s with a Rose Garden satin lining..........sweet!

New this week at Couture Allure, lots of shimmer and sparkle for evening and a fabulous suit by an important designer, Philip Mangone. Mangone was one of the best suit and coat designers from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. Always exquisitely tailored, his suits are becoming very hard to come by. This early 1940's suit is fashioned from purple wool gabardine. This 1960's metallic brocade cocktail suit consists of a dress with matching coat trimmed in black mink fur. Trés chic! This 1960's cocktail suit by Adolphe Zelinka is fashioned from one of the most unusual fabrics I've ever seen! Grey mohair wool is woven with gold lamé in a Mod geometric pattern. More trés chic! Even more sparkle and shine, this time in black sequins on a late 1950's cocktail dress by Jay Herbert. Need a little something to jazz up your favorite evening dress? How about this 1960's opera cape worked in a metallic jacquard? Last for today, but far from least, is this early 1970's metallic gold and beaded silk evening gown by Oscar de la Renta. This dress was from one of his earliest collections bearing his own label.

While we at Vnyc obviously adore vintage we must admit that we are highly cautious when it comes to looking TOO vintage, after all, there is nothing cheaper or more banal than looking too retro, too costumey. And with "Mad Men's" Betty Draper making a vibrant yet sophisticated splash on today's fashion scene, serving as muse to many, we couldn't think of a better way to channel her aesthetic strengths than with this divine 50's inspired MOSCHINO party dress. It's an ultra-femme couture-like MOSCHINO party dress that is made out of a sumptuous almost foamy feeling iridescent red/pink abstract tone-on-tone printed taffeta. It boasts an elegant dropped waist with a pleated bottom half and a dramatic sweetheart neckline with an off-the-shoulder collar complete with a large off-set bow. It also has a hidden side-zip and is fully lined. It may scream 50's drama, Betty Draper and what not, yet something about it's composition in this heavily filled decade of revivals feels crisply modern, and totally fresh! SHOP VagaBondnyc.com Now! I actually do have a wonderful cobbler within 30 miles of me. He's been repairing leather and shoes for ages. Sadly, he's in poor health and I don't know how much longer I'll have an actual "craftsman" to take my injured treasures to. That's the problem with craftsmen and women ~ they learned how to do what they do from someone who learned the same way and care about what they use their skill on. Today very few people are willing to work as an apprentice and learn a skill vs. a "job", so there's no one left to carry on the quality of work. As I said, my shoe guy is not up to working in his shop currently, so I cannot return these beauties to wearable condition myself. This gives you a wonderful opportunity to have a FABULOUS pair of Bottega Veneta woven leather peep-toe pumps at such a reasonable price~ Take them to YOUR local shoe guy and let him work his magic and you'll have a timeless, classic and elegant pair of shoes to enjoy for years to come.Click to shop~

Before there was a Company named Weekenders in 1999, travel or Weekend Ensembles were often called Weekenders. Simply because you could take one outfit and have something for the entire weekend. Also called Mix and Match.....the concept was simple. A blouse, a skirt, pants or shorts, perhaps a jacket................you were set for whatever came your way. The trend faded a bit with pants and shorts becoming acceptable at Restaurants and other tourist attractions, but it never hurts to have a skirt to throw on just in case. These Weekenders can be found under the Weekenders Vintage category at cemetarian.com. If you are looking for more current styles you can find those under Wardrobes Modern.

There's a really fun contest for all you Mad Men Fashion fans over at Super Kawaii Mama blog . She wants you to send her a submission of your best Mad Man character outfit. "It can be as a photograph or a video, but it must be you in an outfit sourced and styled by you. There will be extra points awarded for creativity, so if you’d like to add a little monologue about your process or even some lines from your favorite scene, this will be looked upon with a strong favorable bias. You may enter more than once, but each entry must portray a different character’s style."
Check out the Super Kawaii Mama blog for more details on her contest and to send her your submissions. You have until May 4th to enter.
And we've got the showers covered this week at cemetarian on eBay. (You're on your own for the flowers)

I was running Vintage Bulletin posts through my own id at Twitter, but this weekend I created a separate id on Twitter for the Vintage Bulletin. I'm sure some of you have already spotted it, because I'm following the posters that I could find on Twitter. Each post made on this board will be sent to Twitter with a link leading back to this blog. Each new item that posting members list on Etsy or ebay will also be posted on Twitter. It's all done via Twitterfeed. Hopefully that will mean more exposure for our posts and items for sale!

Sorry, not that Clooney....It's a Cluny Jr., 1950s stunning blue tafetta cocktail dress. Again, the enjoyment of vintage labels is never ending! This humor of course only works today. Mr. George wasn't even born when this dress was made. (But his aunt Rosemary was!) I'm not even going to ask which picture you prefer.... :-)

Pretty Betty Draper. She lives in the suburbs & leads the classic preppy country club life. With her Grace Kelly blonde princess looks she is the epitome of the wife of a NYC ad exec. Under that cool veneer is a surprisingly reckless spirit, so watch out for her when she gets that bad girl look in her eye. And is holding a BB gun. Newly listed at Couture Allure are several designer dresses and a couple of fabulous vintage suits. My favorite this week is this gorgeous 1950's red and yellow brocade cocktail dress with matching swing coat by Frank Tisch. Here's a stunning 1970's Pauline Trigere evening gown. Worked in a hand-painted silk georgette with gold metallic woven in, this gown's design is based on the style of an Asian cheongsam mixed with an Indian sari. You have got to click in and see the other pictures of this 1950's Rothmoor suit. The matching cape is attached with buttons at the shoulders, and the jacket itself is fitted and belted. Simply smashing! New, old stock, this gorgeous 1970's Victor Costa for Neiman Marcus dress is worked in white Cluny lace layered over nude color taffeta lining. Perfect for a summer formal party or wedding! One of our last prom dresses this season, this 1950's party dress is worked in light blue chiffon layered over pink taffeta and it has darker blue free floating drapes in the back. You know we love Davidow suits, and this one is earlier, dating to the immediate post-war years of the mid-late 1940's. Also this week, we've marked down and moved several things to our Sale page. Grab these bargains while you can!

A few weeks ago, andapanda posted in this blog about 'Town Gowns'. Old Navy is marketing long length dresses as ' Town Gowns ' in their commercials with really creepy mannequins. The marketing seems to be working, because people are finding this blog by searching for Town Gowns. So for those of you who ended up here by searching for Town Gowns, may I suggest that you consider passing on the Old Navy version (while $25 may seem like an appealing price, Old Navy + $25 probably does not equal very good quality) Go for the real thing - a Vintage Maxi dress. It's better than Old Navy's version for lots of reasons - it's lasted over 30 years, so it must be made well, You're not going to go out and see 15 other girls in the same dress if you buy a vintage maxi, there is a great selection of vintage maxis out there in different styles and prints, plus you are reusing a resource that is already out there. Here is a selection of some great Maxi Dresses from a variety of sellers on Etsy -
The Arkansas Traveler Brittany Arroyos Issue date: 4/1/09 Section: Lifestyles Since fall, scarves have experienced a comeback in fashion and are even popular with men. Scarves can be worn multiple ways. Light enough to wear in the summer, thick enough to keep people warm in the winter, scarves are the ultimate accessory with any outfit. When it comes to fashion, who doesn't enjoy versatile accessories that can be worn in more than one way? And when they can be purchased from someone who is as passionate about her product as purchasers are with finding quality fashion for great prices, they're a no-brainer. The Vintage Scarf is the right place for fashionistas for all ages. Paula Horlick of Bella Vista envisioned starting her own business specializing in vintage scarves and scarf accessories, including scarf clips and buckles. "I wanted something unique and different from everybody else," Horlick said. "I actually started my business on the side when I was working full-time. I received a vintage scarf in the mail from my mom and just looked at it, and the history of it was playing in my mind." Horlick deems herself as a "solopreneur" meaning that she is the sole being in charge of her business. She purchases her own scarves, runs the Web site and takes photos of her products. The Vintage Scarf was created to provide the most fashionable, comfortable and quality scarves at an affordable price, according to Horlick's Web site, Thevintagescarf.com. In Horlick's collection, the scarves date back to the 1930s and 1980s, each one a unique sample of a particular style. "I inspect every single scarf before I sell it," Horlick said. "I will not sell anything with the slightest flaw." Her ambition is evident when she discusses her love for her work. "This is something I have always wanted to do, and you have to at least try or you will always regret it," said Horlick, adding that her only background in fashion is her former habit of dressing up in her grandmother's clothes as a child. Horlick's vintage collection comes in a wide range of styles, including animal prints and solid colors. As her business continues to grow, Horlick now works with two people from Australia, two from Arkansas and one in California. She hopes her business will grow and expand even further. Horlick said her prices are affordable for the great quality of the merchandise. Scarves can be purchased online at Thevintagescarf.com or by telephone at 1-888-364-9749. The Vintage Scarf also offers free next-day shipping.
It doesn't matter if you prefer the skimpiest of bikini's or more modest vintage cover-ups, we have lots of swim and playsuit patterns. From the 1940's through the 1990's, there is something for every decade. Come on over and check out the Swim/Playsuit and Sports & Casual categories. And I've got 150 scans in the pipeline that I'll be adding in the next few days.
