Dubarry patterns

Dubarry patterns were first produced in 1932 by the Simplicity pattern Company and sold exclusively to Woolworths until 1940. The early patterns were marked dubarry, the logo was later changed to Dubarry.
Between 1933 - 1936 Dubarry patterns were marked with the NRA logo to support The National Recovery Act. (The NRA, symbol was a blue eagle and was popular with workers. Businesses that supported the NRA put the symbol in their shop windows and on their packages.
Because of their short run the harder to find patterns are highly collectable. The latest known Dubarry pattern is dated 1947.
