Specialist Auctions

Specialist Auctions - http://www.specialistauctions.com/ - was established late in 2005 specifically with the intention of offering an auction and stores facility to collectors and dealers of not just collectibles but also specialist goods. The original idea, which we maintain, was to recruit a collection of industry specialists to moderate each area of the site. The concept behind moderation was not just to give advice to newcomers but also to be a real person that members could turn to if they felt fakes etc were being sold on the site. A real person with a real voice in the community.

One of the other main objective for the site was to be financially fair and stable. We wanted to offer our sellers the ability to stock their stores, for free, and list items at a price they wanted without incurring any financial penalties. We wanted our sellers to be able to benefit from tools like “have a haggle” & “snap it up” to encourage selling, for free. Simply put we wanted to provide a service that was at the quality end but without huge costs. Our fees come when an item sells and is fixed at 3%.

SpecialistAuctions is a venue for buyer and sellers to meet and trade and do so in the knowledge that there is someone there who will listen to any queries and questions and a venue that charges on success and these fees are fair.

SpecialistAuctions.com support a variety of charities and have some really exciting items on offer at the moment for Age Concern.

There are four items of early unworn 1970's Christain Dior Vintage Lingerie on offer, The proceeds will be used to buy a Nintendo Wii for an old peoples day centre - how good is that!

To view the items and place a bid go to www.specialistauctions.com/categories.php?parent=9942

SpecialistAuctions are not charging any fees to maximize the value returned to the charity 'Age Concern'

I've been selling on SA for a while now, and have nothing but good things to say about it. I'm glad they are getting the word out!
